The President and First Lady of Republic of Seychelles are set to make a state visit to the Maldives.
According to the President’s office, on the invitation of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, President Wavel Ramkalawan and First Lady Linda Ramkalawan of the Republic of Seychelles will pay a state visit to the Maldives from June 11–14, 2023.
During the visit, official meetings between the Maldives and Seychelles’ governments will take place, and many agreements to improve bilateral cooperation will be signed.
The two island nations have deep ties to one another, and the visit will likely strengthen cooperation in areas of shared interest.
