Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has received the prestigious regional award for Islamic Finance sector. 
During the ceremony held at Malaysia, MIB has received the international Golden award of Islamic Finance Forum of South Asia (IFFSA) in Islamic Finance sector. MIB has achieved the award by competing with leading Islamic banks in the Asian region. 
Maldives Islamic Bank had also received the award before in the year 2011 along with other awards such as Corporate Maldives Gold and Best Manage Islamic Bank Award.
