Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel and India’s Special Envoy and Minister of Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing connectivity, and advancing shared development initiatives.
During the meeting, Foreign Minister Dr Khaleel welcomed Minister Naidu and expressed gratitude for the continued support extended to the Maldives by India. Both ministers reiterated their commitment to the partnership between India and the Maldives, and discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation, enhance connectivity, and advance mutually beneficial development initiatives.
Foreign Minister Dr Khaleel was accompanied to the meeting by Foreign Secretary Fathimath Inaya, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Hameed, Aishath Azeema, High Commissioner of Maldives to India, Joint Secretary, Ibrahim Zuhuree and Director, Aishath Shahula.
