Mohamed Waheed has been dismissed from the board of directors of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).
In a post on X, the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) announced that Waheed was dismissed from the HDC’s board on Sunday.
ހައުސިންގ ޑިވެލޮޕްމަންޓް ކޯޕަރޭޝަން ލިމިޓެޑްގެ ޑިރެކްޓަރުންގެ ބޯޑުގެ މެންބަރު ކަމުގެ މަޤާމުގައި ހުންނެވި ހއ. ފިއްލަދޫ، މަބުސްތާނު ގެ އަލްފާޟިލް މުޙައްމަދު ވަޙީދު މިއަދު އެ މަޤާމުން ވަނީ ވަކިކޮށްފައެވެ.

Waheed had been appointed to the state-run HDC’s board in December 2023. He previously served in senior roles at the Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) and the Housing Ministry.
The PCB did not specify a reason for his dismissal from HDC.
