People who spread false stories relating Maldives and extremism are usually pens for hire. These people who write about democracy are people who wants to carry out anti-democratic agendas in the Maldives. In every piece of writing about extremism in Maldives, such writers say things like the western tourists are unaware of the situation in Maldives. Their sole purpose is to damage the economy of Maldives.
Western tourists will very well know that Maldives does not have extremists. Today, tourists do not only stay in resorts. They visit other islands as well. All islands of Maldives are generally open for tourists. So, there is nothing secret going on in Maldives.
All tourists who visit Maldives are proud of Maldives because even if Maldives is a hundred percent Muslim country, Maldives welcomes tourists from all over the world. Also, because there are no radical elements in Maldives.
Even historically, Maldivians were a peaceful people. Maldivians are maintaining that even today. If any is done against tourists in Maldives, it will be done by the political parties which are trying to assume office without an election. These people always use similar tactics against Maldivians. They try to assume office with the ‘votes’ of Jews rather than votes from Maldivians.
The constitution of the Maldives does not allow that. The president of the Maldives should be elected by Maldivians, and not by Jews. Maldivians will never support a leader who strengthens relations with Israelis.
To gain support for these people, they always pay foreign journalists and use them to spread false information about the Maldives. But with the will of Allah, they will never be successful because every sane person knows the realities of Maldives very well.
