Bangladesh PM’s visit: Four areas of Male’ to be temporarily closed on Thursday

Maldives Police Service has announced that four areas of Male’ City will be temporarily closed on Thursday, in connection to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s state visit to Maldives. 
The four areas are: 
Area in and around Republic Square 
Area around President’s Office 
Area around Hotel Jen 
Area around the Parliament 
The areas will be closed at different times, depending on the activities planned, between 07:00 am and 08:00 pm on Thursday. 
Both pedestrian and vehicular traffic will be temporarily banned. 
The roads in the areas that will be closed are: 
Boduthakurufaanu Magu (near Maldives Monetary Authority) 
Orchid Magu-Republic Square junction 
Boduthakurufaanu Magu (near Bank of Maldives/Lotus Goalhi) 
Naadhee Goalhi 
Ameer Ahmed Magu-Finihiyaa Goalhi junction 
Sosun Magu-Medhuziyaaraih Magu junction 
Abadhahfehi Magu-Guleynooran Magu junction 
Guleynooran Magu-Karankaa Magu junction 
Hithahfinivaa Magu-Karanka Magu junction 
Kalhuhuraa Magu-Hadheebee Magu junction 
Husnuheena Magu-Bokarumaa Goalhi junction 
Nooraanee Goalhi-Hithahfinivaa Magu junction 
Medhuziyaaraih Magu-Dharumavantha School junction 
Shaheed Adam Naseer Hingun 
Shaheed Abdulla Zuhair Hingun 
Police added that parking will not be allowed in the parking zones in the areas from 08:00 pm on Wednesday to 08:00 pm on Thursday. 
Vehicles that remain in the parking zones will be towed in accordance with standard protocol, said the police. 
Meanwhile, the lagoon where the Izzuddin Jetty has been closed to vessel movements since 06:00 pm on Wednesday. Travelers have been advised to call their travel agents and inquire about the changes. 
No changes have been brought to traffic on Sinamale’ Bridge.
