Indian media channels have reported of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi getting ready for an official trip to both Israel and Palestine.
If the news is confirmed by credible sources، then Narendra Modi will become the first Indian Prime Minister to ever visit the two countries as none of the previous seat-holders had visited these nations.
While India does not have any diplomatic or bilateral relationship with Palestine، the south-Asian giant had been able to establish some levels of bond with Israel.
As of now، no confirmation of Modi’s trip date has been disclosed while media had also reported that the Indian PM would be visiting Jordan during his trip as well.
Even though this marks the first time Mr. Narendra Modi is visiting Israel، he had met with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu at New York، US back in September 28، 2014.
Back in 2003، the then PM of Israel Ariel Sharon had visited India، marking the first time an Israeli PM had visited India.
Modi had visited، India’s biggest rival China last month. The current Indian government، with Modi at its helm has achieved a total of 39% foreign diplomacy success.
