Velaa Private Island owners to extend donations to Maldives

The primary shareholders of luxury tourist property, Velaa Private Island are expected to donate medical equipment to Maldives government in its efforts to fight COVID-19 pandemic.
It has been claimed the owner of Velaa Private Island Jiri Smejc and co-shareholder Daniel Kretinsky will donate:
Travel and tourism tabloids have reported the Czech Republic billionaires will be flying in their donations into Noonu atoll Maafaru on Sunday.
They are expected to arrive in Maldives via their private jet; for which permits from relevant authorities have already been acquired.
The island nation is expected to receive monetary grants and assistance in the wake of the intensifying economic crisis amid the viral pandemic.
Earlier, it was reported both the American and Japanese governments have extended financial assistance in the form of donation and emergency grant to Maldives government.
The monetary assistance are all confirmed to be utilized in the efforts of combat against the expansive spread of the COVID-19 virus in Maldives.
