A new Deputy Minister and Ministry of Finance and Treasury has been appointed.
The new Deputy Minister appointed at Finance Ministry is the recent Deputy Governor at Maldives Monetary Authority – central bank of Maldives – Mr. Abdul Gafoor Abdul-Latheef.
He was appointed to the said designation on Thursday، last week.
With Mr. Gafoor’s appointment as the new Deputy Minister، the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of Maldives currently holds a total of five deputy ministers in the department.
In addition to this، the ministry has two state level ministers and a cabinet level minister at the authority.
