BML employees have provided assistance to families living in distress.
The bank's employees have donated basic food supplies to support the "Help a Family" program conducted by MOMS NGO. The event is organized by MOMS to assist families who are in difficulty during the month of Ramadan.
Through this program, MOMS will provide assistance to 100 such families across the country. The organization said that the assistance received from BML will achieve this goal.
"With this assistance from BML employees, we are encouraged to double our efforts to help families in need and bring about positive changes in the community,"
BML has previously conducted special activities to assist families in need of community assistance. BML donated MVR 100,000 in collaboration with ARC to assist such families during Ramadan last year. The bank had donated MVR 200,000 to assist children in need of assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
