BML becomes Platinum Partner of Gold 100 Awards

Bank of Maldives (BML) partnered with local business magazine, Corporate Maldives, to become the Platinum Partner of the 'Gold 100' Awards.
The bank made the announcement in a press release Sunday, noting that 2020 marks the fourth consecutive year for BML to partner with Corporate Maldives to present the awards, which recognise the leading 100 business entities categorised by industry in Maldives.
The applications for the annual listing are evaluated by an independent consultancy, based on a strict, transparent selection criterion. The winners will be announced at the Gold 100 Gala slated for February 25.
“The Bank has been steadily increasing its support to businesses in the country. It is our pleasure to partner with Corporate Maldives for the Gold 100 awards once again to recognize top performing businesses in the country", stated BML's Director of Business Kuldip Paliwal regarding the partnership.
BML noted that the bank unveiled three Business Centres in Addu City, capital Male' and its reclaimed suburb Hulhumale’ last year, where its Relationship Managers provide support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on a range of business banking and advisory services including applications for accounts, loans, credit facilities and merchant services including POS and Payment Gateway.
The main bank of Maldives operates a nationwide network of branches, relationship managers, self-service banking centres, ATMs, point of sale merchants and agents across all 20 atolls, complemented by a full suite of digital banking services. BML reiterated its commitment to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across the country.
