All the members of the Feridhoo Island Council in Alifu Alifu Atoll have signed up for the main ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).
The ceremony held at the Secretariat of MDP was attended by Chairperson Fayyaz Ismail. The council members also met with the leader of MDP President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
During the ceremony, the membership forms of 50 members who signed up for the MDP were handed over to the party. In addition to the council members, some members of the Women's Development Committee (WDC) in Feridhoo also signed up for MDP.
