The members who oppose the incumbent government are littering the roads of capital Malé city، claims Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
On a tweet posted on Thursday night، Housing Minister said that ‘the opposition members have littered the roads of Malé city when the government have undertaken many efforts to keep it clean’.
Previously the maintenance of Malé city roads are under the regulations of Malé City Council، which has the opposition MDP majority، however، as the Housing Ministry has taken over many works carried out by the council، the maintenance – cleaning – of the roads is a work of the Ministry.
