Bank of Maldives (BML) announced its branches and services centers will open thrice weekly starting from Monday onward.
The national bank’s branches and service centers are opening in order to provide specific services unavailable from online or self-service banking.
According to BML, their branches will open between 09:00hrs and 14:00hrs on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays every week.
The services from the bank’s main, Hulhumale, Vilimale and Islamic branch include:
Additionally, BML confirms card issuance and account opening services will be available from Vilimale’ and Hulhumale’ branches as well, which will be made available in their Islamic branches along with acceptance of personal and business financing applications.
The account opening center at Male’ Square will provide services related to opening bank accounts for individual customers. Moreover, the loan center at Male’ Square will accept applications on lifestyle, student and home loans along with home construction loans.
Both business centers at Hulhumale’ and Male’ will provide account opening and loan application services for businesses.
Moreover, customer service centers will be issuing BML debit/credit cards to customers which need to be arranged through appointments. Customers are further requested to practice acceptable social distancing protocols.
Additionally, the service centers will be serving fixed amount of customers daily.
Customers will receive window to request for appointment on preceding day using appointment portal or via SMS.
