BML to provide services via pre-booked appointments

Bank of Maldives (BML) on Saturday announced that with the easing of lockdown measures, the bank will be providing services that are not available online via ATMs through pre-booked appointments.
As per the press statement by BML, this is to ensure that all services are provided within the social distancing guidelines dictated by Health Protection Agency (HPA) to contain further outbreak of COVID-19.
BML's branches and service centres across Maldives will be open every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 0930 hours till 1400 hours starting from June 15, till 30.
Customers can make appointments the day before each working day through the bank's appointment portal or by SMS.
Although branches and service centres are open, BML urged customers to continue banking from home for everyday banking and to opt for services available online.
Making note of the online services available, the bank stated that cut off-times for these are available from https://www.bankofmaldives.com.mv/essential-services-via-online
Services only available online:
- International Transfers (TT)
- Payroll
- Local Bank Transfers
- MIRA Payments
- mPOS Applications
Services only available from ATMs:
- Cash Deposit: The daily limit for businesses MVR 500,000 and for personal customers MVR 100,000
- Cheque Deposit
The bank urged customers to visit their website for further information on services provided from branches and service centres by appointments.
