Bank of Maldives has announced that effective today, BML customers can use their Visa Debit cards abroad up to a maximum daily limit of USD1,000 (previously USD600). Customers can now withdraw cash up toUSD 400 via ATMs and pay up to USD 600 via POS terminals across the world.
This change is a result of customer feedback and is part of the Bank’s efforts to enhance the services being provided to customers.
Commenting on this change, Retail Banking Director,Mohamed Shareef stated, “We believe thiswill be very positive news for our customers, particularly for those travelling abroad during this holiday period and for students who live overseas.”
