The political party talks initiated by the current administration are set to reconvene on Wednesday evening, 2nd March 2016.
The President’s Office has sent out invitations for the discussions to the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM), Maldives Development Alliance (MDA), Jumhooree Party (JP), Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), Adhaalath Party, and Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP). The President’s Office states that all the parties have accepted the invitation.
Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Dr. Mohamed Shainee, Minister of Defense and National Security Hon. Adam Shareef Umar and Minister of Youth and Sports Hon. Ahmed Zuhoor will represent the current administration at the meetings.
