Indian High Commissioner Rajeev Shahare has said that the golden jubilee year of Maldivian independence will be a golden year of bilateral relations between India and Maldives.
The Indian High Commissioner made this remark speaking at the press conference held in Traders Hotel.
Rajeev Shahare said that various activities will be held and every activity will strengthen the ties between the two countries.
He said that the traditional activities that will be held will not only be limited to Indian traditional acts but Maldivian traditional activities will also be held.
The High Commissioner said that 2014 was an year of significant events between the two countries. He said that this year will also be a significant year for the relationship between India and Maldives.
