Managing Director of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport، “Bandhu” Ibrahim Saleem scheduled to summon at People’s Majilis special committee assessing government designation responsibility.
According to reports، Ibrahim Saleem will be summoned to the committee over the alleged termination of several local staffs from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport and replacing them with expatriates.
The committee had requested from MACL to disclose information regarding the case، but due to noncompliance from the company، Saleem is therefore summoned. The decision was reached in the committee’s most recent meeting.
As per reports، the special committee of People’s Majilis had requested to unveil details regarding the alleged case on 3rd December، but the request had not been complied till date.
Dhidhoo constituency member Abdul-Latheef Mohamed along with Mohamed Ismail and Ibrahim Shahid، Hoarafushi constituency member and Hulhudhoo constituency member respectively claimed and made the allegations of their acknowledgement of MACL dismissing several local staffs and replacing them with foreign staffs.
