TC Sports Club has won their first international match and has made the nation happy.
TC played against Dhaka Abaanee the champion team of Bangladesh league in the ongoing Sheikh Kamaal Cup. TC won the match one to nil.
The only goal seen in the match was scored by Ibrahim Mahdhee in the 16th minute. Mahdhee was also the man of the match.
Overall both the teams played well. The defenders of TC managed to keep the forwards of Abaanee in check throughout the match.
Speaking to the press after the match, the manager of TC Said that he would like to thank Allah first and that it was a huge achievement to beat a Bangladeshi team in their own country.
TC is playing in the competition aiming to win the title. At the moment Pochen Fc is leading in the group which TC is in. TC is in the second place.
TC will play against Alga Bishkek on the coming Monday. The match will start at 3:00 pm in Maldives local time.
