Ha. Molhadhoo Council to lease Screw Pine Plants and Coconut Trees in 8 areas of the island

Ha. Molhadhoo Council has opened the opportunity to lease Screw Pine (locally known as Kashikeyo) plants and Coconut Trees in 8 areas of the island for a period of two years.
According to Council, council has decided to lease the Screw Pine Trees in all locations of the island under council’s jurisdiction. Council stated that Screw Pine Trees will be leased for minimum MVR 1,500 per year.
Moreover, Molhadhoo Council has also decided to lease Coconut Trees in 8 locations of the island. For these coconut trees in 8 locations, the council has set a minimum leasing price for coconut trees in each location per year. 
In this regard, minimum leasing price for the coconut trees on both side of east of Ameenee Magu is MVR 1,500, MVR 1,000 is set for the coconut trees on both sides of island’s jetty, MVR 300 for ‘Thahnujahaa kuda ruh gan’du, MVR 400 for Ziyaaraiy ruh gan’du, MVR 250 for thahjehi bodu ruh gan’du, MVR 1,700 for the coconut trees on north-east side of Ameenee Magu, MVR 250 for the coconut trees on both side of Thun’di Magu, and MVR 500 for the coconut trees planted outside of Masjid Noor.
Therefore, council requests those interested leasing the Screw Pine Trees and Coconut Trees in 8 locations to visit council on December 19, at 10:00hrs with proposals.
