The theory examination for driving licences in Malé City will now be conducted at the Ministry of Transport from today.
In an announcement, the ministry stated that aming the services provided by the ministry, the theory test for vehicle driving licences will now be held at its premises.
Applicants booking their theory exam through the Safari Information Management System (SIMS) will now have to select the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation as the designated test centre.
Previously, from 15 November 2023, the theory examination was conducted at Maldives Polytechnic. Before that, the service was provided by the Ministry of Transport.
The Ministry of Transport is currently located in the Umar Zahir Building in Hulhumalé Phase 1.
