First Lady Saijdha Mohamed has officiated and participated in the SIFAMA Fun Run 2026, organised by the Sifainge Family Association (SIFAMA).
Upon her arrival at the Hulhumalé Synthetic Track this afternoon, she was received by the Minister of Defence and National Security, Hassan Rasheed, the Chief of Defence Force, Major General Ibrahim Hilmy, and their respective spouses.
Following its inauguration, the First Lady took part in the run. SIFAMA Chairperson Khadheeja Zeena Riffath then presented her with a commemorative plaque, followed by a ceremonial cake-cutting to commemorate Mother's Day and Children's Day.
The event brought together over 1,000 people, including army families and members of the public. This is the second fun run organised by SIFAMA.
