His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed his condolences to His Excellency Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, following the tragic railway accident in the Sikhio district of Nakhon Ratchasima province.
In his message, the President expressed deep sadness over the accident, which claimed dozens of lives and injured many others, and extended the heartfelt condolences of the Government and the people of the Maldives to the Government of Thailand and the bereaved families.
He also wished a swift recovery to those injured and expressed hope that search and rescue operations would continue unhindered.
