The Malé City Council has announced a call for proposals to construct a multi-level parking building in the northern part of Malé to alleviate the growing vehicle parking challenges in the city.
An information session regarding the project will be held on August 3rd at 1:00 PM in the meeting room of the Public Services Section on Boduthakurufaanu Magu. Interested parties must attend this session to be eligible to submit bids.
Bid submissions are scheduled for 10:00 AM on August 10th. Only Maldivian companies, partnerships, local investors, and licensed businesses are eligible to participate. Proposals from parties who fail to attend the information session or arrive late for bid submission will not be accepted.
The Council emphasized that the increasing number of vehicles in Malé has exacerbated parking problems, causing inconvenience for pedestrians and other road users.
