Islamic Bank of Maldives has also decided to allow the Fitr Zakaat payment from this year onward and dedicated a special counter for it.
In a news conference held at Islamic Ministry today، Head of Card Centre in MIB Ahmed Riza said that there will be a special counter to accept the Fitr Zakaat payment and no additional fee will be taken for the service.
Customers will also get to do the payment through POS from today، he also added.
Fitr Zakaat payment will be accepted on working days during Ramazan from 10:00 to 13:00 every day from the counter at Islamic Bank of Maldives، and the POS in theFitr Zakaat counter at the Islamic Center، says Riza.
Meanwhile Bank of Maldives also said that Fitr Zakaat can be paid through their services as well.
