Deputy Speaker of the People’s Majlis، Reeko Moosa Manik، who was removed from MDP membership on Monday، has stated that he is not considering to join another Political Party.
He has denied the claims of him signing for PPM in a statement he gave to Haveeru Online.
However، Vaguthu was confirmed that Moosa was suppose to sign to Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) during a special signing ceremony at Nasandhura Palace Hotel on Tuesday.
Contrary to the claims of Moosa joining PPM، the president of PPM and former President of Maldives Maumoon Abdul Gayoom sent a message to party leaders stating that Moosa Manik will not be welcomed to the party، silencing anyone from the party vouching for Moosa.
Reportedly، Minister of Tourism Ahmed Adeeb had highly entreated to let Moosa Manik join PPM.
Moosa Manik said the rumors of him joining a party is a hoax spread to anger his supporters، and that he was not approached by a Party to join them.
