The Chinese survey team in Male’ for the feasibility study of the Male’ Hulhumale’ bridge has said that funding for the bridge will arrive once the project is found to be financially viable.
In a press conference alongside the Economic Council، Deputy Ambassador said on behalf of the team that funding for the project will arrive only after the construction work is found to be feasible.
This means that the funding will arrive only if the investment can at least break even within an acceptable amount of time، and if the construction is not too cumbersome from an engineering perspective.
