Former Deputy Minister at the Foreign Ministry, Ali Hameed has said that the current government is a government that does not give any concern to the pleas of the people and is a tyrannical government.
He said that the tyranny and oppression of the government has escalated so much that the government is oppressing the people in all walks of life.
Ali Hameed said that the government has enslaved the people through their fear mongering tactics and intimidation while claiming to celebrate fifty years of independence.
He said that the people will not feel independent when they are put under pressure from all sides. “No matter how much they want us to believe that we are independent we are not. The people are today enslaved by the government,” he said.
Ali Hameed said that the most important fundamental pillar of independence is justice. He said that it is clear to the whole world that the current government is devoid of justice and fairness.
