(Addu City، Feydhoo): Fathmath Sibaa Saeed has been chosen as the best all-round student of Feydhoo School for the academic year 2014.
At the Prize Awarding Ceremony held last night، prizes were handed over to Sibaa by the chief guest of the ceremony، State Minister of Education، Ahmed Shafeeu.
Sibaa achieved first place in the National Top Ten of last year’s O Level examinations and also achieved first place in the world from Economics. She is currently studying in Addu High School.
T the ceremony held last night، students from the school who achieved places in the National Top Tem were announced and awarded with shields. A total of 136 students who achieved excellence in various things were awarded during the ceremony.
In addition to officials of Education Ministry، the members of Addu City Council and the MP of Feydhoo constituency، Ibrahim Didi also attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony، principal of Feydhoo School، Ali Musthafa noted achievements and encouraged students who won those achievements. Noting that the school is very much aware about technology، the principal highlighted upon some of the work being done to expand modern education.
Feydhoo is the second most populated inhabited island in Addu City.
