Singapore’s Silk Air to operate to Maldives

Singapore Airlines’ regional wing، Silkair is to start flights to Maldives very soon.
While the flights are to begin from 25th October onwards، four flights per week، it is noted that Singapore Airlines has decreased the number of flights to Maldives from 14 to 10 flights per week.
Whereas both the airlines jointly will make two flights to Maldives per day، Silkair will make flights to Maldives on Mondays، Tuesdays، Wednesdays and Thursdays at 11.40 am. Flights from Maldives to Singapore will be at 12.55 pm on the same days which is the time the current daytime flight of Singapore Airlines lands in Maldives.
Senior Vice President of Singapore Airlines، Ms. Lee Wen Fen said that the passengers will experience more ease with travelling now that both the airlines are operating to Maldives. Silkair said that making flight operations to and from Maldives along with Singapore Airlines is a huge achievement for the airline.
Singapore Airlines is one of the longest operating airlines to Maldives.
