Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), also known as Visit Maldives, has announced its official endorsement of a four-city roadshow in India hosted by Tatabye Maldives, also known as Tatabye Tours, a Destination Management Company (DMC) operating in the Maldives.
This exclusive, invitation-only event is one of the largest Maldives’ roadshows ever held in the Indian market by a DMC, featuring the participation of 22 renowned Maldivian properties.
The roadshow is taking place across four major Indian cities from May 12-16.

Coimbatore (May 13)
Hyderabad (May 15)
Bengaluru (May 16)
Each event welcomes over 100 carefully selected travel agents, offering them an opportunity to engage directly with representatives from some of the most prestigious resorts in the Maldives.
The primary objective of the roadshow is to spotlight the Maldives as a leading destination for luxury, romance, and experiential travel.
The Tatabye Maldives Roadshow features the participation of 22 renowned Maldivian properties.
The event is a strategic platform to enhance trade relations and support outbound travel from India to the Maldives, with a particular focus on the luxury, weddings, leisure, and MICE travel segments.
Speaking on behalf of Visit Maldives, CEO and Managing Director Ibrahim Shiuree said they are pleased to support the extensive initiative by Tatabye Maldives to further connect with travel trade professionals across key Indian cities.
“This roadshow strengthens our ongoing efforts to promote the Maldives as a top-tier destination for Indian travelers seeking luxury, weddings, leisure, and business travel experiences,” he added.
Tatabye Maldives has built a solid reputation over the past decade as one of South India’s top wholesale operators for Maldivian resorts. With direct contracts with over 150 properties in the Maldives and a presence in both Indian and Middle Eastern markets, the company is a key player in the region’s travel landscape.

As of May 11, India ranks as the sixth largest source market to the Maldives, contributing 46,953 tourist arrivals, which represents 5.3 percent of the total visitors so far this year.
Visit Maldives has conducted several high-profile activities aimed at the Indian market this year, including an impactful partnership with the Mumbai Indians – India’s most successful cricket franchise – as the Official Tourist Destination Partner for the 2025 season.
According to Visit Maldives’ its endorsement of the Tatabye Maldives Roadshow, and others like it, fall under the board’s long-term strategy to maintain strong visibility for the Maldives and encourage more Indian travelers to experience the destination’s world-class offerings.
