Dhiraagu faces interruptions on Fixed Broadband services

The largest telecom and internet provider in Maldives, Dhiraagu has experienced interruptions in their fixed broadband services.
Customers experienced internet time-outs sometime after midnight on 1 December, with connection interruptions continuing on Dhiraagu’s ADSL and Fiber Broadband services well into Sunday’s morning.
The service provider in a Tweet on Sunday morning had confirmed the company was facing technical issues on their fixed broadband network.
Dhiraagu assured their technical teams were attempting to counter the issue and resume services back.
In addition, the telecom provider had apologized from their huge customer base for inconveniences while the internet connection had resumed in afternoon.
Regarded as the largest internet and telecommunication service provider in Maldives, Dhiraagu provides their Fiber Broadband services across 75 local islands, while expansions are in plan.
