Bank of Maldives (BML) has introduced its new Digital Pay wallet on the Mobile Banking application.
As per the national bank of the island nation, with the new upgrade, contactless payment services and wallet-to-wallet transfer services are featured through the Mobile Banking app.
With the new feature, customers can now facilitate payments through BML Mobile Banking app with a Scan to Pay for faster and secure payment experiences.
The bank’s CEO and Managing Director Mr. Tim Sawyer, while speaking about the new upgrades noted that BML remains committed towards investing in new technology to ensure delivery of better banking experiences to customers.
“Today we have integrated our digital wallet and payment functions to the mobile app enabling customers to bank and pay through a single app”, Mr. Sawyer added.
He further said, “With today’s upgrade, our Mobile Banking app is the only wallet customers need. Across the world, mobile based contactless payments are among the most secure and fastest modes of payments and we are proud to introduce this on our app.”
