Foreign Ministry have said that the special envoy of Commonwealth to the Maldives، Willy Mutunga will visit Maldives next month.
He was appointed as the special envoy of Maldives after the government of Maldives requested to appoint an envoy to help Maldives with reforming the judiciary and promoting Human Rights. Foreign Minister Dr.Asim confirmed that Mr.Mutunga is set to arrive next month.
Willy Mutunga have said that he will try to stabilize the political situation in Maldives. He also said that he will try to pave way for an all inclusive election in 2018.
