The Sri-Lankan hospitality group managed property Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives Resort at Meemu atoll reopens post major renovation.
The tourist resort, owned by local venture AAA Company, closed down earlier for renovation and development.
Post renovation the luxury resort reopened once again for tourists in 15 December 2019.
Following the renovation, the main resort of Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa has been linked via a walkway with the neighboring island at close vicinity.
The major portion of the resort’s renovation went into the redesign of the beach villas and 70 of its overwater villas. The walkway linking the close by islands also meant added space for the resort.
In addition to this, two new restaurants and a pool bar have been enacted during the renovation process.
The newly linked island to the resort, dubbed ‘Adult Island’ is a private getaway spot for traveling couples and honeymooners in need or privacy. The island consists of a total 20 platinum beach villas.
The Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives Resort is among the four tourist properties in Maldives managed by Sri Lanka’s John Keells.
