A delegation of reporters from top media outlets of South Africa have visited Maldives under the tourism familiarization trip.
According to Visit Maldives, the organizer of these trips, the delegation of reporters will stay in the country from 25 September until 02 October. Moreover, the reporters of the delegation represent top media hubs such as Independent Getaway and Sunday Times.
Moreover, Visit Maldives remains hopeful this trip will generate stronger buzz in the South African tourist market and attract holidaymakers to the Maldives.
Furthermore, it was reported that the media team will travel between Fushifaru Maldives, The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort and Hideaway Beach Resort and Spa during their trip.
Meanwhile, this marks the second such familiarization trip focused on the South African market organized by Visit Maldives in 2021.
