President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed departed on a visit to Sri Lanka. 
President's Office confirmed the visit and noted that this was an unofficial visit. 
The first couple departed on Thursday morning on the four-day visit. 
According to the President's Office, both President Solih and First Lady Fazna are scheduled to return on January 2, 2022.
