Bank of Maldives (BML) unveiled its new ATM centre in capital Male’ on Sunday.
The 24-hour centre, located at Star Cloud, the former Star Cinema building in Maafannu ward, features three state-of-the-art multi-functional ATMs through which customers can deposit and withdraw cash, deposit cheques, make payments and transfer money.
"The new Self-Service Banking centre is a part of ongoing investment to expand our network. As an alternative to visiting branches for basic banking services, the new Centre will allow customers the flexibility to bank at their convenience", said BML’s CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer.
"Last week, we announced plans to establish ATM centres in four islands as part of our support to local communities and we look forward to adding to this over the next few weeks".
The main bank of Maldives operates a nationwide network of 38 branches across all 20 atolls, 56 Self-Service Banking Centres, 119 ATMs, 277 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services. BML reiterated its commitment to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across the country.
