A meeting of former Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed and Adhaalth Party’s leader Sheikh Imran Abdulla has been conducted.
The meeting was held today afternoon in Imran’s house.
The meeting was participated by several Islamic scholars including former Islamic Minister Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdulla.
However، the discussion topics of the meeting have not been disclosed yet.
This is the first time Shaheem has met with Adhaalath leader after his resignation as the Islamic Minister. Dr. Shaheem is also a member of Adhaalath Party.
Shaheem resigned from the position of Islamic Minister after Adhaalath notified its members in the government to resign from the government positions. Shaheem resigned from the position on 5 May.
Adhaalath leader Imran was arrested during the Mayday protest led by the Adhaalath Party and yesterday court ruled to release Imran from Police custody، however، he was banned from travelling abroad.
