Dr. Bilal Phillips has said that the message of the Quran and Sunnah is for all humanity and that is the reason why the message still remains.
Dr. Bilal Phillips made this remark speaking at the first lecture in “the Call 2014” organized by Jamiyyathu Salaf. He said that Quran is the basis for science and he underscored the importance of seeking knowledge and acting upon that knowledge.
The visiting Islamic scholar also stated that the importance of learning the jurisprudence of the four schools of thoughts in Islam. He said that all of the four schools teach the same fundamental principles and some differences occurred when some later day scholars added their own understanding and opinions.
In addition to this, Dr. Bilal Phillips said that everything which is harmful for the body is forbidden in Islam and anything which is forbidden cannot be declared permissible.
