Bank of Maldives has notified customers will face temporary interruption in using BML issued Visa cards on some international e-commerce merchants.
BML said the interruptions are due to an ongoing essential upgrade to enhance the security of the Visa Cards and payment gateway.
However, the bank said the customers can continue using their cards at ATMs and POS machines abroad.
The bank is working swiftly to resume the service.
