Bank of Maldives (BML) on Monday, July 10, has opened applications for proposals under its Community Fund for the second phase 2023.
The Community Fund is open to locally registered non-government organizations (NGOs) to access funds up to MVR 50,000 for implementing projects in various areas such as environment, education, sports, and community development. The bank further noted that all registered NGOs based in Male’ and islands are eligible to apply.
BML has announced that in the second phase of the Community Fund for 2023, a total of 10 projects will be selected from the proposals received. A total of 20 projects will be funded throughout the year 2023, similar to previous years.
The deadline for submitting applications for the Community Fund is 11:59 p.m. on August 10, 2023. Interested parties can submit their applications in addition to project proposals and supporting documents to [email protected]
BML's Community Fund is a program launched by the Bank of Maldives with the aim of empowering local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to actively contribute to their local communities through sustainable projects.
As of today, BML has provided financial assistance to over 90 projects across the Maldives.
