Deadline approaches for BML community fund applications

The window for submitting proposals for the Bank of Maldives BML Community Fund will close on Thursday, August 10.
This marks the second round of applications opened for the fund this year.
The Community Fund is open to applications from registered Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) both in Malé City and residential islands.
As per BML, NGOs have the opportunity to submit proposals in areas of environment, education, sports, and community development. The bank is set to fund a total of 10 proposals, with each proposal eligible to receive financial assistance of up to MVR 50,000.
Applicants can submit forms and proposals to BML via email to [email protected].
The BML Community Fund serves as an initiative aimed at enabling local NGOs to make meaningful contributions to their communities through sustainable projects. To date, the fund has provided financial support to a total of 90 projects spanning various locations across the Maldives.
