President Yameen appoints Major General (retired) Moosa Ali Jaleel as the new Defense Minister of state.
Moosa Ali Jaleel took the designation today during a special ceremony held at President’s Office in the presence of President Yameen Abdul Gayoom، with oath recited upon by Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed.
Major General (retired) Moosa Ali Jaleel has been appointed as the new Defense Minister post termination of former Minister Mohamed Nazim. Prior to the new designation، Moosa Ali Jaleel was filling the post of Maldivian Ambassador at Pakistan.
Moosa Ali Jaleel who is a member of PPM had been the Chief Of Defense Force as well.
