Habeeb Bank have said that Maldives is a good place to conduct business and that their Maldivian branch is profitable.
Speaking at the ceremony held to open Habeeb Bank’s branch in Hulhumale’ the International Banking Head of Habeeb Bank Aabid Sattaar said that they want to open new branches in the Maldives and expand their business here.
He said that in their Hulhumale’ branch, they will give ATM services and all other services available in Male’ branch. Habeeb Bank is the second commercial bank opened in the Maldives. It was opened in 1976 and since then they have helped the Maldives in various ways.
It has been 40 years since they started operations in the Maldives, but they still have staffs at the bank who joined the bank in the beginning. This shows that they give importance in hiring Maldivians.
