Colonel Nazim`s appeal case has been scheduled at the Supreme Court tomorrow. Colonel Nazim was sentenced to 11 years in jail for possession of firearms. He appealed his case at the high court but high court also maintained the ruling of the criminal court.
The hearing is scheduled at 11:00 am. The case will be presided by the full bench of Supreme Court. After appealing the case، Nazim’s lawyer Suood said that they found who planted the pistol in Nazim’s apartment and they will name him at Supreme Court.
The usual procedure is not to accept new evidences and witnesses in appeal cases however if the judges want they can allow it and there are now legal barriers in doing so.
