Kendhoo constituency MP, Ali Hussein has said that there is no need for a government if justice cannot be established among the people.
Ali Hussein said that it is not justice when trials of political opponents of the government are concluded in haste while the trials of others are procrastinated for years.
Ali Hussein said that every case requires justice and equality. He said that if cases are procrastinated then the rights of those involved are violated.
He said that this is proof enough that the government is influencing these trials if these trials can be rushed because the government wants them to.
Ali Hussein said that democracy is not holding various elections but it is to establish justice and equality.
“Elections were held since long. Elections were held even when votes were rigged. Therefore holding elections is not democracy,” he said.
