The decision of Adhaalath Party (AP) to withdraw from government coalition and end their support، has been strongly criticized by Jamiyyat-Al-Salaf.
Sheikh Abdulla Bin Muhammad Ibrahim، President of Salaf، in an exclusive interview with Vaguthu، stated the decision of Adhaalath Party was a weak decision and it was politically unscrupulous.
Sheikh Abdulla said they are raising the question if the government is in a state to be imposed with a resolution or not.
He further said the decision was reached without any prior discussion of it within the council of scholars in the party.
In addition، Sheikh Abdulla responded to the statement of Adhaalath Party، stating corruption and mischief should not be engaged by any government or institutions and such acts committed before and now should be probed.
Meanwhile، Adhaalath Party had released a statement on Sunday night announcing they had withdrawn their allegiance to the Government as it is filled with corruption and has continued engaging in unlawful activities against the spirit of the Constitution.
Adhaalath Party’s statement further reads، “The party’s council has come to a decision to withdraw the allegiance to the Government as we are assured we cannot do anything further to resolve the matters officially and unofficially within or outside of the Government”.
