Marriott International launched its Westin brand in the Maldives with the opening of Westin Maldives Miriandhoo resort one-year ago. Within a year the resort has made headlines with winning accolades as the Indian Ocean’s Leading New Resort of 2019 at the World Travel Award, 20 Best Spas in Global Spa List – Travel & Leisure (India and South Asia) and Luxury Lifestyle Magazine Readers’ Travel Award Runners up – Best Hotel in Asia.
With Marriott Bonvoy the resort has also been recognized as being a leading guest satisfaction performer.
